Waist: Measure across the top edge of the waistband (from one side to the other) when the skirt is laid completely flat. Take this measurement strictly along the waistband line, without including the pleats below.

Length: Measure from the top edge of the waistband (highest point of the waist) straight down to the desired hemline. This measurement should be taken along the center of the front or back panel of the skirt.
Sizes can vary from 1–2 centimeters because they are measured by hand.
